Thermal Paint Removal methods include the Blow Torch, Heat gun and the Heat plate. Heat plates can be used on large surfaces. They do not vaporize the surface so they are safe from an environmental point. Used properly, Heat Guns are great for most smaller or intricate projects. The Blow torch is no longer recommended on buildings due to the fact that lead based paint will vaporize at the high temps releasing toxic fumes that can be unknowingly inhaled.
