This graceful 1930's "Colonial Revival" style house, located at 133 Cherry Lane, is the home of Dr. Bob and Mrs. Star Eaker. A beautiful structure it incorporates an unusual feature for middle Tennessee in that it utilizes 12" inch tapered cypress, for the original siding. Painted 4 years ago with Porter Paints "Permanizer" brand, this paint job is expected to last a long, long time. This 1200 hundred foot long 6' wood fence is located at 1706 N. Tn. Blvd. just down the street from the Saint Rose of Lima Catholic school. Pressure washed to perfection with a wood Cleaner/Brightener and then stained using airless spray and back brushing technique. By applying 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Wood Scapes" Solid Tone Commercial Grade Premium Stain this fence met the requirements for a 10 year guarantee.

We have the knowledge, the tools, and equipment, and we put it to good use. It's never about just getting done and moving to the next job. We take a lot of pride in our work. We love driving by houses we completed several years ago and the job still looks great. We work on your Home or Business property, as if it were our own.
For instance:
*We do not just paint around fittings we take them off, paint and
then replace them - Doorknobs, exterior lights, electrical covers,
shutters, storm windows, and so forth.
*All interior walls get sanded prior to painting. If there is globs
(trash in the old paint film- painters call them boogers) of paint left
on the walls from a bad paint job, we'll try our best to remove all of
them.
*Everything starts with quality paint and other materials of course. We
use the best products available on your home.
* The final appearance of the job, all straight lines on the ceilings
and moldings. Full color coverage with a uniform sheen. No
runs, no holidays.
* Needless to say paint should be where it's supposed to be, and
not where it's not supposed to be. No drips on the floor or
furnishings. We always move and/or cover everything.
*For wood work that is sprayed, the final appearance will be
smooth and the sheen will be uniform.
* For wood work with the more traditional look that is brushed
on there will be no missed or dry looking spots.
* Our job site is is kept clean and neat. Daily cleanup is conducted
at the end of every day. No cigarette butts on our jobsite.
* 70 to 80% of every job is in the prep. Scraping, Sanding, Caulking,
repairing cracks, and filling holes, are all a must for a quality job.
* The top quality brushes, roller sleeves, Spray rigs etc. are all part
of achieving top results. The better the materials and tools the
better the job.
* You cannot paint over dirt and grime and expect it to adhere properly or
at the very least it will have trash in the paint film. Cleaning all the
pollution, salts, mineral deposits and dirt is the first step
in a good exterior paint job. We pressure wash most houses
prior to painting.
* The proper use of premium stain killers ensures that any stain
will not bleed back through a week after the job is complete.
* Look at the tops of your doors and windows on the inside of
your home, especially the ones on exterior walls. Is the molding
caulked and sealed on the top, like it is on the sides. Odds are,
they are not. How many times have you heard about loss of
energy from things not being caulked? We caulk and
seal every gap, and every joint - everywhere. Sometimes a quality
job has more to do with what you don't see than what is obvious.
* For an Interior job, dust is the enemy, we dust and vacuum,
after sanding and anytime prior to painting.
* We never "thin" paint with water or paint thinner. Most all
paints manufactured today are made to be rolled, brushed, or
sprayed right out of the can. If the can has been opened several
hours and the drier is evaporating, Penetrol or Floetrol shall be
added to recondition the paint, never water or paint thinner. If a
painter tries to turn 10 gals into 15 gals using water or thinner
look out down the road, it will not last, and may not even
adhere.
